the staff responded quickly to my queries. the location was ideal. the village felt relatively quiet.
three breakfast items weren't available, including smoked salmon. this shortage persisted for two days. the absence of yogurt was also noticeable.

the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. my room was clean and well appointed, it had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. the location proved convenient for nearby attractions. the on-site parking also eased my travel logistics.
The noise from the floor above my room was noticeable. I could hear movements quite distinctly, it was slightly bothersome.

charming and clean
warm room large bed clean bathroom
the room was well decorated warm and very quiet it had everything that we needed the bed was large and so comfy i found the bathroom clean and modern. the evening meal was very good. breakfast was fantastic with excellent value for money. i will definitely stay again
people smoked right outside the front the smell of smoke came into my room when i opened the window

the room size was good, and the bed was very comfortable. the breakfast was excellent (especially the fresh pastries!). the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. i found the location to be fantastic for exploring the area.
the floor was noticeably creaky, which might disturb light sleepers.

industrial fan no towel hangers
The room was above the kitchen and THAT was AWFUL. An industrial fan seemed to run constantly. The noise was annoying. the room was so hot. I could barely sleep. There were also no places to hang towels in either the bathroom or the bedroom, quite inconvenient.

i found the staff very helpful and cute. the hotel has an interesting history in a pleasant setting.. the food at both dinner and breakfast was tasty.
my room had squeaky floorboards. i could hear the occupants above me visit the toilet frequently through the night, which awoke me several times. soundproofing between floors is non-existent.

good stay
the breakfast was really good, with many choices. the staff at the bar and restaurant displayed professionalism and warmth. i appreciated that they accommodated my request to extend my stay by one night.
the floorboards creaked. i could hear people moving, not just in my room but also in the corridors. this was a little disruptive, especially at night when trying to sleep. a non slip shower mat was not provided.
